Lupine Award Angeli Perrow's newest picture book, Many Hands, a Penobscot Indian Story, has just received the 2011 Lupine Award! The award is given to the best picture book by a Maine author or illustrator published in the previous year. In this gentle tale, illustrated with soft, yet vibrant watercolors, and woven with words from the Penobscot dialect, young Lily learns a valuable lesson about pride and her place in the village.
